Davide Santon should complete his transfer from Inter to Napoli for approximately €6m next week.
The versatile full-back had been on the verge of a move to Sunderland, but failed to agree personal terms.
According to multiple reports, the deal is worth €6m and Santon will sign a five-year contract at just over €1m per season.
He will undergo a medical on Monday or Tuesday.
Now 25, Santon can play on the left or right or defence or midfield.
