The tactician admits that he would still like to have the player at his disposal, but he knew that the South American would move on.
“The club did all that it could to keep Sanchez,” the former Vicenza boss has commented.

“The club did all that it could to keep Sanchez,” the former Vicenza boss has commented.
“The problem is that when a club like Barcelona arrives there really is nothing that you can do about it.”
Sanchez, signed in 2008 after a campaign at River Plate, scored 12 goals in 31 Serie A games last season.
Udinese netted Sanchez when he was an unknown and they hope that the capture of Gabriel Torje this summer can be just as successful.
“The boy is alert, he understands Italian and he’s more than just an interesting player,” Guidolin added.
“I could even try him as an attacking midfielder behind two strikers in the future.
“However, he needs to be left to work in peace.”
The 21-year-old, labelled as the ‘Romanian Messi’, was bought in from Dinamo Bucharest this summer for a fee believed to be around €7m.
