New Torino midfielder Juan Manuel Sanchez Mino has today explained that the club’s fans and history were big attractions.

The 24-year-old, who was a late mover from Boca Juniors to the Granata, has explained his motivation for the transfer.

“I’m thankful to the club and to the fans who welcomed me well,” Sanchez Mino has commented to reporters today.

“Toro has a very passionate support and I’m happy about that. Why Toro? I left Boca to come to a very important club.

“Toro is a very big club, with great supporters, that’s why I chose to wear the Granata jersey. I know it has a great history.

“Serie A is a very difficult league, but this is a great chance for me and I hope to do well.

“Pressure? I don’t feel it.”

The Argentine, who debuted in the draw against Inter last weekend, spoke about his position on the pitch and revealed his role model for this Italian experience.

“In my career I’ve played as a midfielder, both left and right, but I’ve also played as a full-back in some circumstances.

“Camoranesi is oriundo like me. I hope I could be the Granata’s answer to Camoranesi.”
