Betis striker Antonio Sanabria is reportedly close to joining Torino on a permanent €7m deal.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Paraguayan striker will join the Granata on a permanent €7m deal plus €3m add-ons.

Betis have a 10-15% sell on clause, according to the report.

The 24-year-old will have his medical tests with the Granata in the coming days.

Sanabria is the first winter reinforcement for the Granata who have recently replaced their coach Marco Giampaolo with Davide Nicola.

It was Nicola himself who requested the signing of the Betis striker who he coached at Genoa in the 2019-20 campaign when he scored six goals in 17 Serie A appearances.

Federico Bonazzoli will consequently return to Sampdoria and move on loan again at Crotone until the end of the season.
