Sampdoria have invited offers for Simone Zaza after the young striker turned down a new contract at Marassi.

Zaza, 18 goals during a loan spell at Ascoli in Serie B, is only tied to Doria until June 2014. If they don’t sell this summer then he could move on a Bosman in 12 months.

“Zaza, during the course of the season, closed the door on a renewal with us,” President Edoardo Garrone told Tele Nord. “Certain figures made no sense for us.

“We’ll now look at what to do,” he added. “If someone wants to buy him then we are ready to discuss a transfer.

“However, until that happens, Zaza will remain a Sampdoria player as he still has a year left with us.”

Doria have confirmed that Napoli and Juventus” data-scaytid=”20″>Juventus are interested in the 21-year-old forward.
