Fabio Quagliarella believes Sampdoria were ‘good, but not great’ during their 2-1 win at Fiorentina.

The 34-year-old scored what proved to be the winner in what was an impressive victory at the Artemio Franchi for Marco Giampaolo’s side.

However, despite the result, the Italian thinks there is more to come from the Blucerchiati.

“Winning here always brings satisfaction,” Quagliarella said after the final whistle in Florence.

“It’s a hard place to come, they are a great team.
