Newly promoted Verona are closing in on the signing of Hamburg midfielder Jacopo Sala.
The midfielder, who can also be used as a right-back, is currently playing his club football in Germany following a 2011 switch from Chelsea.
Sala is a product of the Atalanta” data-scaytid=”5″>Atalanta youth system who was snapped up by Chelsea as a 15-year-old in 2007.
