The midfielder is set to be one of the club’s most wanted players should they drop out of the top flight, but his agent insists transfer talk can wait.

“This is not the right time to be speculating about his future,” Amir Ruznic told Tuttosport on Thursday morning.

“There is a survival to secure at all costs and all of his energies are totally focused on achieving that objective.

“There will be time to discuss the transfer market, but, for now, everything is on hold until the end of the season.”

The 25-year-old Slovenian international joined the Rosanero in 2010 from Maribor. He has five goals in 24 League games this term.

The Sicilian giants are believed to value the player at around the €6m mark.
