“Salah is equidistant compared to the other players. After this game we’ll talk to the Coach in order to evaluate the situations and make our decisions. It’s important to point out we are not in an emergency situation, so do not necessarily need to sign anyone.”
Destro starts tonight, but has been heavily linked with Milan, Inter, Liverpool and Tottenham.
“We have a lot of faith in Destro, who scored 20 goals despite playing only in fits and starts. We’ll talk to him after the match to see what his state of mind is around this moment with Roma, but there’s a good chance he’ll remain, especially as the Coach wants him to.”
Sabatini also hinted he’ll discuss Marco Borriello’s future and a potential move to Genoa on Monday or Tuesday.
