Simone Inzaghi says Lazio expected to suffer against Udinese and is convinced the Biancocelesti can still qualify for the Champions League.

“We played with intensity for 60 minutes, we knew we would suffer in the final 20 minutes, but I am delighted with the performance," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia after his side's 1-0 win over Udinese.

“Udinese are fourth in the table in the Girone di ritorno and we had played against Bayern Munich on Wednesday," he continued.

“Every player who came off the bench had the right approach. We suffered a little in the second half, but we had an exemplary commitment.

“The race for top four is still open. There are many strong and prepared teams, we are still there, we’ve been battling for the top four over the last five years.”
