Subject to the coronavirus test and medical checks before the resumption of training, the Kosovo international Rrahmani revealed he underwent the examination yesterday.

The defender will move to Napoli after the current campaign but claimed Verona are prepared to fight for a place in Europe next season.

“We did the tests today, I say [Matteo] Pessina too,” he said on Instagram. “I missed him a lot.

“Since yesterday, we have started to live our lives a bit more like before. I’m trying to train; we all know it’s different than training with the team.

“It’s more difficult, there’s no motivation. If we can resume, we want to collect many points and try to go to Europe. The most important thing, is to give our all.”

Verona were eight in Serie A before the forced break and lost 2-1 to Sampdoria in their last match prior to the interruption.

But the Gialloblu are only four points behind Napoli at sixth, with one game in hand and 13 rounds remaining.
