“Zeman is a great Coach, but for the moment any future with the Giallorossi is only an idea,” agent Federico Pastorello told Radio Sportiva.
“There is nothing concrete in this story yet. In October Rossi will undergo surgery again and I am convinced he’ll return better than ever.”
The New Jersey-born Italy international was out of action for six months with a knee injury when he snapped the same ligament in training, ruling him out for a further eight months.
“Will he remain at Villarreal? Some offers arrived, but they were not considered to be suitable,” continued his agent.
“Villarreal were unfortunate to get relegated from La Liga, but right now Beppe is focused only on recovering from his injury. The transfer market is the least of his worries.”
