Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi says he wants to return to action ‘as soon as possible’.
The Italian international hasn’t seen a minute of action this season, having undergone knee surgery, but the former Manchester United man says he’s nearing a return.
“I’m fine,” Rossi assured fans and media, speaking at the launch of a Fiorentina youth camp.
“I’m working hard, I’m continuing to train and I hope to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.

“The season? We have a very important Europa League match [on Thursday], we have the right motivation to do well and to progress in this prestigious tournament.
“I have full confidence in the lads, we’re a team with a lot of experience.”
