Giuseppe Rossi is looking forward to tonight's Euro 2012 qualifier against Estonia. “I make a good partnership with Antonio Cassano. As for Barcelona…”

The Villarreal striker has been named in the starting XI along with Alberto Aquilani and Cassano in a 4-3-1-2 system with no recognised centre-forwards.

“I make a good partnership with Antonio and we'll try to do what we know how. It's easy to seek him out on the field and we like to continually exchange passes,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I make a good partnership with Antonio and we'll try to do what we know how. It's easy to seek him out on the field and we like to continually exchange passes,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Of course it's not just about us. This team has great quality throughout its midfield.”

Some have suggested Cesare Prandelli is trying to adopt a Barcelona-style system for this game by ruling out the big man up front.

Rossi could well have a future at the Nou Camp, as he has been in negotiations for a €25m move.

“Playing for Barca is the dream of every player. They are the best team in the world right now and in the history of football,” he added.

“However, I am focusing only on the Nazionale and the three points we really need.”
