Genoa’s Aleandro Rosi says Roma are a threat despite their ‘difficult moment’, and Francesco Totti is still the ‘number one danger’.

The full-back started his career in the Giallorosso youth system before moving to a variety of clubs, including Chievo, Livorno, Parma, Sassuolo and current team Genoa.

Speaking ahead of his side’s clash on Sunday with the Lupi, he recognised the quality of his opponents.

“Roma is a team composed of champions,” said Rosi at an event in the Genoa Museum and Store.

Speaking ahead of his side’s clash on Sunday with the Lupi, he recognised the quality of his opponents.

“Roma is a team composed of champions,” said Rosi at an event in the Genoa Museum and Store.

“Totti is still the number one danger as far as shots on goal and free-kicks go.

“They may be experiencing a difficult moment now, but Sunday for us is going to be a game like all others.

“Against Empoli, Cesena, Juventus or Roma, it is always a battle.”

Rosi was also asked about the Coaches of the two teams.

“[Roma's Rudi] Garcia and [Genoa's Gian Piero] Gasperini are two well-prepared Coaches.

“The Frenchman has come from a great season last year, our Coach is throwing his weight back into the game very well.

“We hope that Sunday is going to be a good game for the tifosi, but especially let's hope to come back home with a victory.

“I like top play every game, but it would be nice to start against Roma, as a Roman and an ex-Giallorosso.”

Roma and Genoa will meet at the Luigi Ferraris this Sunday at 15:00 Italian time.
