Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is one of three players nominated for UEFA’s Men’s Player of the Year.

Ronaldo ran out top scorer in the Champions League for the sixth consecutive campaign with 15 goals in 2017-18, helping Real Madrid defend their European crown.

The Portuguese has also won the last two editions of the award, although he will not be going against long-time rival Lionel Messi this time around.

Instead, joining him on the podium are his former Madrid teammate Luka Modric and Liverpool’s ex-Roma winger Mohamed Salah.
