Italy’s Euro 2016 qualifier with Norway will be hosted by the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on October 13.

The venue was confirmed by the FIGC with a statement this afternoon.

It will be the first game played at the Olimpico since a friendly against Argentina on August 14 2013.

Rome has been the setting for 57 official Nazionale matches, seeing 33 wins, 17 draws and only seven losses.

The Azzurri’s other upcoming home ties will be at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence against Malta on September 3 and the Stadio Renzo Barbera in Palermo against Bulgaria on September 6.
