Alessio Romagnoli urged Milan to “last longer than 70 minutes, stay calm and use intelligence” in the Coppa Italia Final with Juventus.
It kicks off on Wednesday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT) at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The defender made his comeback from injury in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Hellas Verona.
“My return went well and I feel in good shape,” Romagnoli told Milan TV.

“I never feared missing the Final, as I knew my injury wasn’t that serious, but I thank the medical staff. Both teams want to win and will push to the end, but we’ll try to get the result down as quickly as possible.
“We put in a great performance in the Final two years ago and lost in extra time. I think the gap with Juve has been reduced, but we need to last longer than 70 minutes. We’ve got to stay calm and use intelligence.
“Victory would mean winning a trophy, going directly into the Europa League and that automatically improves self-esteem going forward.
“Gonzalo Higuain is a champion who can score with one ball at his feet, so we must manage to limit him.”
