This will be on Monday, as the FIGC confirmed it had released Romagnoli from international duty so he could have the tests.
The 20-year-old had been called up for a friendly match against Hungary on Wednesday.
All the players were to be in the Rome training camp by Sunday evening, but a statement confirmed Romagnoli had been released “so he can undergo the medical tests relative to his transfer.”
That means on Monday, if all goes to plan, Romagnoli will officially become a Milan player.
