Roma are reportedly working to offer cash plus two young players to get Franck Kessie from Atalanta for €30m next season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Giallorossi are working hard to close on the Ivory Coast international.

They’ll have to beat competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, who it’s believed had €25m offers turned down.

The plan is to sign Kessie now to bring him to the Stadio Olimpico in June.

It’d be on loan with obligation to buy, thus spreading the costs, with youth team players Riccardo Marchizza and Marco Tumminello included in the deal.

Overall, the cost of the operation would be in the region of €30m for the ‘new Yaya Toure.’

Kessie only turned 20 last month and in his debut top flight campaign has seven goals and two assists in 17 competitive games.
