Internacional director Jorge Macendo has confirmed that Roma are in talks with the agent of Brazil international goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
The 23-year-old has reportedly been touted as the successor to Wojciech Szczesny once the Pole’s loan finishes at the end of the season.
Alisson made his debut for the Selecao in October and now has two senior caps, and his contract with the Porto Alegre-based outfit expires in November 2016.

“He’s an important player for us, he’s already in the first team and it’s normal to talk about him in view of the transfer market,” Macendo told Calciomercato.com at the WyScout forum in London.
“He’s talking directly with our President, but I can confirm that Roma are speaking with his agent.”
