Roma continue negotiations with Juventus for Daniele Rugani, but are moving their focus towards Torino centre-back Nicolas N’Koulou.
The Bianconeri’s asking price of €30m is considered excessive and this week the Giallorossi refused to include youth team players Alessio Riccardi and Zan Celar in the deal.
With a €10m gap between demand and offer, the situation is difficult, but they are ready to continue talks.

However, Il Tempo newspaper and TeleRadioStereo now claim that Roma are turning their attention towards another candidate, N’Koulou.
With Torino losing the first leg of their Europa League play-off 3-2 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, it could change the Granata transfer strategy, as they would no longer need such a large squad.
N’Koulou had already been approached earlier in the summer, with an offer of cash plus Diego Perotti rejected.
The 29-year-old Cameroon international brings experience, height and power to the back line and has been very impressive since his €4m transfer to Olympique Lyonnais in 2017.
