Mexican referee Marco Rodriguez has been assigned to Italy’s make or break match with Uruguay.

FIFA announced the officials for Tuesday’s World Cup games, including the Group D decider.

This will be his second encounter of the tournament, as he already officiated Belgium-Algeria.

Rodriguez is at his third World Cup, having taken part in Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010.

He was also the official for the Club World Cup Final between Milan and Boca Juniors in 2007.

Portuguese referee Pedro Proenca will officiate Japan-Colombia, while Carlos Vera of Ecuador oversees Greece-Ivory Coast.
