Fiorentina have issued a statement revealing that Franck Ribery can begin training following the removal of pins in his ankle.
Ribery has been out of action for the Viola since late November, when he suffered a serious ankle injury against Lecce.
Ribery’s injury required surgery and the winger has missed the Viola’s last 15 games.

Today the club have issued a statement, saying that the pins protecting Ribery’s ankle have now been removed, and that the player will start training from Monday, through individual gym sessions and later training on the pitch.
Ribery is slated to return to playing towards the end of Febuary and the beginning of March.
