According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ribery will already be back in Florence today and could even make an appearance at the Stadio Franchi to watch his teammates take on Serie A leaders Inter.

He posted an image from his hospital bed post-surgery, complete with Fiorentina shirt and matching purple hairnet.

“Thank you so much for all your messages. The operation went well. I’m fine. With the help of God I will come back stronger!”
