The Bayern Munich man is seen as one of the favourites to take the annual award co-run by FIFA and France Football magazine, ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Andrea Pirlo.
And the French winger has admitted that his partner is confident he will come away with the prize.
“Under the fireplace in the living room. My wife has already prepared a place for it go, everything,” considered the player to L’Equipe this week.
“I try not to think about it, but she is thinking about it a lot. At Bayern everyone believes that I will win.
“[If I am favourite] then it is for the what I have done in the field, what I have done to return to my best, to be professional every day and for the trophies that I have won.
“Before this year I was very good. Now I am the best.”
