Now, the 37-year-old has shown his fellow Frenchman his appreciation for the message, while expressing gratitude for the club’s ‘real fans’.
“My brother, thank you very much,” he replied.
“You know me, you know where I’m from and you know I’m not the type to back out of anything.
“I do as I say! It’s not possible to please everyone. In the meantime, I put my boots on, I have the real fans on my side and also the city, which is counting on me.
“The rest matters little to me. I signed for the real Viola. Viola forever!”
