Andrea Stramaccioni calls for the return of the “real Udinese” while blaming injuries for his recent poor record.

The Zebrette find themselves in troubled waters, having picked up only three points in their last five games, but their Coach feels it isn't too late to turn things around.

“We've already come across difficult moments in this season,” he said in his Press conference.

“The medicine for that is to put everything we've got on the pitch so we can return to being the real Udinese.

“We had too many ups and downs. We must work on the ups, which I liked a lot.

“Parma managed to turn around their negative run,” he said in reference to Udinese's defeat to the Emiliani in Week 29.

“As for our loss to Palermo, we were given only a few days to prepare the game and we couldn't set our ideas straight.

“Against Chievo, on the other hand, we had a week to prepare the game and I'm sure we'll have something to show for it. Until two weeks ago we could boast four positive results in a row.

“But in terms of our squad we are down to the last men. [Maurizio] Domizzi picked up an injury and I had to call up [Mauro] Coppolaro, who plays with the youth team.

“All we have to think about is reaching safety as soon as possible. I don't want to hear that Udinese should be aiming for higher targets.”
