Olympique Lyonnais were reportedly ready to offer him the captaincy at the Groupama Stadium, but the World Cup winner has decided to move overseas and join David Beckham’s club in USA.

Matuidi will either terminate his contract with Juventus, expiring in June 2021, or sold free of charge.

The 33-year-old has a contract worth €4m a year in Turin, recently renewed through an option in the previous deal.

Calciomercato claims Juventus have allowed agent Mino Raiola to find a solution in very short time and the France international has chosen Inter Miami.
