Multiple reports say Fiorentina have accepted Milan’s bid for Nikola Kalinic, a loan with obligation to buy.

The striker has been absent from training for the past two days, and today submitted a medical certificate to be excused for the next five.

The Viola then announced their squad numbers for the Serie A season, with the Croatian international losing the number 9 shirt to Giovanni Simeone.

Now Sky Italia, Gazzetta dello Sport, Tuttomercatoweb and calciomercato.com are all reporting that the Rossoneri’s offer has been accepted tonight, following further talks earlier today.

It’s expected that the deal will be made up of a €5m loan, with a €20m obligation to buy next summer, giving a total cost of €25m.

Kalinic already has a deal with the Diavolo, so he now simply has to fly in from Croatia and take his medical before officially joining.
