Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano claim Inter are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Club Brugge over the signing of 24-year-old right wing-back Buchanan.

Romano says the agreement between the two clubs is ‘imminent’ and that Inter will play €7-8m to sign the Canadian defender.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have reached a full agreement with Club Brugge.

The pink paper claims Buchanan will undergo medical tests with the Serie A giants next week and could be available in the first Serie A game of the year against Hellas Verona on January 6, 2024.

Buchanan has three goals and four assists in 20 appearances across all competitions this season. He’s been drafted in to replace the injured Juan Cuadrado who will remain out of action for at least three months following Achilles surgery.
