According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mateja Kezman has been given permission to ‘define the details’ of Milinkovic-Savic’s move to Old Trafford.

The newspaper explains United will pay €75m for the Serb up front, with €5m ‘easy-to-reach’ bonuses and €10m that are more difficult.

The 24-year-old would have also agreed an initial salary of €5.8m with the Red Devils.

Kezman’s arrival in Manchester makes sense as United chief Ed Woodward did not travel with the team for preseason, instead staying behind to negotiate deals.

The signing of Milinkovic-Savic should free Paul Pogba up for a long-awaited switch to Real Madrid.

In turn, the Aquile – as per La Gazzetta – will reinvest the money from SMS’ sale in a new midfielder, purported to be Trabzonspor’s Yusuf Yazici, a forward and a defender.
