The Coach took over during the Christmas break when Vladimir Petkovic was sacked for entering negotiations with the Swiss FA.
The failure to qualify for Europe raised tension within the club and this evening President Lotito met with Reja and director of sport Igli Tare.
That meeting has now concluded with Reja and Lotito driving away from the Formello training camp separately.
Reja only confirmed he will speak to Lazio Style Radio – the club’s official station – tomorrow in order to explain the situation.
According to lalaziosiamonoi.it, the encounter essentially marked the end for Reja’s time as Coach of Lazio.
Ex-Bologna tactician Stefano Pioli is the hot favourite to take over next season.
