The Coach was looking for a new position after he was sacked by Inter in March to make way for Andrea Stramaccioni.

He had been an early favourite for the Stadio Artemio Franchi bench, but was overtaken by Vincenzo Montella.

It is now reported that Ranieri has signed a two-year contract to become Coach of Ligue 2 side Monaco.

The deal also has an option for adding a third season.

Ranieri had been linked with West Bromwich Albion and a club in Qatar.
