Sassuolo are reportedly closing in on a permanent deal to sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti.

According to Sportitalia’s Luca Cilli, Sassuolo will pay €5.5m plus bonuses for Pinamonti, while there are reports Inter can bring him back for €16m.

It comes after Neroverdi CEO Giovanni Carnevali admitted his club’s interest in the 18-year-old.

Pinamonti is considered a bright prospect and has a prolific record for Italy’s youth teams but has played just twice for the Nerazzurri this season.

The Beneamata could use the money to bring in a new player, having so far failed to sign an attacking midfielder.
