Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini will reportedly meet Davide Ballardini later today as he considers changing Coach yet again.
It was reported earlier today that Walter Novellino’s place on the Rosanero bench was at serious risk following last night’s 3-0 capitulation to Lazio.
It was the third defeat in four games for Novellino and the Sicilian club remain at risk of relegation, on level points with Carpi and only one ahead of Frosinone with Juventus up next in Serie A.
Gianluca Di Marzio has now reported that although Zamparini hasn’t made a decision on what to do yet, he will meet Ballardini later today.
The former Cagliari and Lazio boss was already in charge of Palermo from November to January and Zamparini will reportedly meet him to weigh up whether to re-hire the tactician.
Should Zamparini decide to take action, it will be the ninth coaching change of the season for the Rosanero and the second time a Coach has been re-employed after Beppe Iachini.
