The 21-year-old could discuss with other clubs in January, but the reports in Italy claim he wants to stay with the Rossoneri, who are currently top of Serie A after nine games.

The broadcaster reports Donnarumma has asked for €8m a season and a three-year extension, but Milan have been pushing for a four-year deal worth €7m a year.

After the recent discussions, the report reveals the gap is minimal and Donnarumma, who has kept four clean sheets in eight Serie A games this term, is close to signing a new deal with the Diavolo.
