The Gazzetta dello Sport believe that Roberto Mancini has already signed a two-and-a-half-year deal to replace Walter Mazzarri at Inter.
The Nerazzurri were reported this morning to have decided to make the change in Coach, with the team sitting ninth in Serie A after a difficult start to the season.
Having confirmed Mazzarri’s exit, the club are widely believed to have reached agreement with Mancini for his return to the club on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Whilst confirmation has yet to arrive, the Gazzetta dello Sport are running the line that the 49-year-old has already penned his deal through to June 2017.
Believing that Mancio signed yesterday evening, the Gazzetta suggest confirmation is imminent ahead of a presentation to the media during Saturday.
Meanwhile, Mazzarri has been saying his goodbyes to the players at Pinetina.
