There are reports that Manchester City have rejected Inter’s €25m offer for Carlos Tevez, so Paris Saint-Germain are back in pole position.

Nerazzurri President Massimo Moratti confirmed an official proposal had been made to the Eastlands side.

“There are no secrets in football,” the oil baron told Controcampo. “The offer is €25m. Now it is up to City whether they accept that bid or not.”

According to the latest rumours from Sky Sports, City have replied that €25m (just over £20m) is not enough for unsettled striker Tevez.

It seems unlikely Inter will raise their offer, especially after last night’s derby victory. Milan have pulled out of the race after opting to keep Alexandre Pato, so PSG are now the favourites with their €30m bid.

Tevez has been ‘on strike’ from Manchester City since flying back to Argentina in December.
