Paris Saint-Germain are, according to Corriere dello Sport, set to confirm the permanent deal for Inter loanee Mauro Icardi this weekend.

The Argentine seems set to embark on a new chapter away from Inter as PSG seem set to activate the option in their current loan deal with the former Nerazzurri captain.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims the required documents are being exchanged in the next hours and the newspaper claims the operation will be materialised for about €60m to €65m plus bonuses.

The report insists that if everything goes to plan, the move will go through by the end of this weekend.

Icardi, who has scored 20 goals in 31 games on loan in Paris, will leave Inter seven years after arriving from Sampdoria in July 2013, when the Nerazzurri signed him for €13m.

He contributed 124 goals and 28 assists in 219 games for Inter and has taken his total tally to 185 in 322 after one season in the French Capital.
