The Queens Park Rangers playmaker had been linked with a move to the Grifone, but with news that he will play his football at Craven Cottage next term, the Marassi side are assessing other options.
One of those, according to respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, is the 22-year-old France U21 international.
