Reports in Italy suggest Manolo Gabbiadini’s move from Napoli to Southampton is done, with a medical scheduled for tomorrow.
The forward has been in talks with the Saints for some time, but the deal was delayed as the Partenopei were holding out for €20m.
Dramatic reports last night suggested the transfer could even collapse altogether, but Sky Italia is now reporting a done deal.

Dramatic reports last night suggested the transfer could even collapse altogether, but Sky Italia is now reporting a done deal.
It’s expected that Gabbiadini will fly to England imminently, and will take a medical tomorrow.
The agreement is reported as a €17.5m [£15m] transfer fee, with another €3m in bonuses, linked to the number of goals the Italian international scores in the Premier League.
It’s also likely that there will be a 10 per cent sell-on fee for Napoli, as that was one of the sticking points for President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
