Eusebio Di Francesco seems set to leave Sampdoria by mutual consent after the club and Coach agreed to go their separate ways.

Di Francesco was only appointed Samp boss in June, but a summer dogged by takeover speculation has been followed by six defeats from seven Serie A games.

Now, Corriere dello Sport is reporting the pair are ready to move on and are working on a consensual termination, given the Coach is under contract until 2022.

The 50-year-old is attending the funeral of Sassuolo patron Giorgio Squinzi today and will not lead Blucerchiati training tomorrow.

Ex-Fiorentina, Inter and Bologna trainer Stefano Pioli is the current favourite to replace Di Francesco.
