Federico Chiesa will reportedly sign a new contract with Fiorentina by the end of this week.
According to Corriere Fiorentino, Chiesa’s salary will be doubled to €1m, although it is not clear whether the winger will pen an extension or merely improved terms.
It comes after Napoli went public with their pursuit of the 19-year-old, only for the Viola to quickly issue a hands-off warning.
Chiesa, son of Calcio legend Enrico, scored five goals in 36 appearances for Fiorentina last season but missed their opener against Inter through suspension.
