The website notes a meeting is scheduled for Tuesday between Napoli and the Spaniard’s camp, where the club will be informed of negotiations with the Yellow Submarine and their intent to buy out his Partenopei contract.
The 32-year-old joined the southerners from Real Mdrid in 2013 and has gone on to make 210 appearances at the San Paolo, winning a Coppa Italia in his first season.
