“We just weren’t there today,” confessed the Coach, as his team was booed off the field following a 0-0 draw at the Olimpico.
“We have to thank Albano Bizzarri, who blocked all of Chievo’s assaults. We certainly paid a price for the Europa League strains and were fortunate to get a point.
“Seeing as we struggled to find space and were tired, both physically and psychologically, I had to make changes.
“The winter break comes at the right time, as I think this was one of Lazio’s worst performances of the season.”
