Lazio Coach Edy Reja feels his side didn't deserve to lose to Napoli on Sunday in one of the games of the season so far.

Lazio twice took the lead and had a goal wrongfully disallowed in a 4-3 defeat at the San Paolo.

"It's a great disappointment," Reja said. "We didn't deserve to lose against Napoli, but we committed mistakes on their goals and that upsets me.

"We already talked about Edinson Cavani's [dubious penalty] and also the goal not given to Brocchi. You could see it was good from the bench.

"However, what I would like to underline today is that Biava's sending off was wrong because there wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity, seeing that Cavani was turned.

"It was a gratuitous sending off that opened up the floodgates for Napoli."
