Now Alfredo Pedulla’s website is reporting that De Boer could be sacked tomorrow, and will not take the team to Southampton for the Europa League match.

One of the names mentioned as a successor is former Lazio boss Edoardo Reja, and the tactician admits he’d take the job in a hearbeat.

“To date, I’ve had no concrete signal from Inter,” Reja told FCInterNews.

“It’d be a huge step for my career, how could I say no? That said, I’m not sure Inter is the most likely path for me.

“It’s not a question of being optimistic or pessimistic, I prefer to be realistic. There are so many Coaches out there for a possible replacement for De Boer, so it wouldn’t be easy for me.

“Would I be caretaker until June? It’d be an honour to get a call, I’d be flattered. It’s too early to talk about it now, but to be honest, no, it wouldn’t be a problem.”
