Dynamo Kiev Coach Serhiy Rebrov “prepared very well” for their Europa League quarter-final with Fiorentina.

The first leg ended 1-1 with a last-gasp Viola equaliser by Khouma Babacar, so Dynamo Kiev have to score at the Stadio Franchi to have any chance of reaching the semi-final.

“We prepared very well, seeing what we lacked in the last few games, mainly that we do well in the first half and fall away during the second,” said Rebrov in his Press conference.

“Fiorentina are a side with many top level players, so there is no specific line-up of champions and they have many options to come off the bench too.

“Fiorentina are in a League with top level clubs, so are accustomed to regular difficult games throughout the campaign. We have Shakhtar Donetsk and I see the Viola on the same level as them.

“Some players had aches and pains, but they have recovered and are ready for tomorrow’s game.”

Dynamo Kiev had problems recently with officials in their domestic League, so the Coach was asked if he feared the refereeing element in Florence too.

“In Europe we do not have the referees that we do in Ukraine. I don’t even think we’ll receive unfair cards. My players will fight to win and if we have someone sent off or suspended for the next round, that won’t be a problem.

“Our domestic League is very important, but of course so is the Europa League. Regardless of the competition, I need all my men at 100 per cent, so squad rotation is helpful.”
