Real Madrid beating Liverpool in the Champions League Final is good news for Roma, as they are aiming for a better group stage draw.

The Merengues lifted the trophy for the third year running thanks to a 3-1 victory in Kiev this evening.

That means Roma will be bumped up to the second pot in the draw for next season’s Champions League group stage if either Basel or Benfica fail to get through the play-offs.
